Morgan sees this "As Seen on TV" advertisement for "Aqua Dots" probably every morning. From what I can tell it is some version of something we did when I was younger. It used to require some small beads that you placed onto a plastic holder thingy and then ironed. The heat would melt the beads together and you could make a pattern. Aqua dots doesn't require the iron and somehow uses water to make the beads/dots stick together...Anyway, Morgan loves this idea. Every time she sees the commercial she comments on how she wants it. With all of the crap on commercials she is most consistent about this!?
oh yeah, the other thing she sees on TV that she really wants is the Steve Irwin Talking Action Figure. The commercial (and doll supposedly) has Steve Irwin saying, "Danger, Danger, Danger," in his Australian accent. Morgan can mimic his accent perfectly. I love to hear her tell me, "Mom, you know what I really want. The crocodile hunter doll that says 'Danger, Danger, Danger.' I swear she sounds like an Australian herself.

This product is a Number 1. Hit with the my kids (ages 6-12). It keeps them entertained for hours. The 12 year old especially loves the making her sisters and friends names out of the dots.
I can make some suggestions for others as my children and I have become experts on the product since we play every day.
HOW TO SPRAY
To spray the beads you should hold the spray bottle approx 4 inches away from your design.
Spray the design until there is small amount of water inbetween each bead - approx 4 -5 times.
DRYING TIME
To test if the beads are dry try touching the top of the beads to see if they are still sticky. Remove the beads from the tray once beads are dry.
SUGGESTIONS
* To make sure the beads do not fall apart we also spray the back of the design and wait for them to dry. This gives us designs that are always stuck together.
* I would not recommend pulling the beads apart and putting into the pen as this is when the beads get jammed in the pen.
GOOD LUCK and keep persisting as there is unlimited fun with Aqua Dots!!!!!!
Regards Rebecca
